• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment, including HVAC systems, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and production machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules to minimize downtime and ensure the reliability of mechanical systems.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify mechanical problems and implement appropriate solutions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to determine root causes and perform repairs.
• Collaborate with engineers, mechanics, and other technicians to coordinate maintenance activities and optimize mechanical performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and repairs performed.
• Assist in the development of maintenance procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in mechanical engineering.
• Proven experienceof 2-3 as a mechanical technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles and practices. • Familiarity with mechanical systems, components, and machinery commonly used in industrial and commercial settings. • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment for maintenance and repair tasks. • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • Willingness to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, and occasionally in confined spaces or at heights. • Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, or during emergency situations as needed. • Certification or licensure in mechanical technology or a related field is a plus
