Duties and Responsibilities

•	Greet customers warmly and assist them with their fuel requirements promptly and courteously.
•	Accurately dispense various types of fuel into customer vehicles.
•	Process payments efficiently using cash, card machines, and other accepted methods, ensuring correct change and transaction records.
•	Conduct basic vehicle checks such as oil, water, and tire pressure upon customer request.
•	Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pump area, forecourt, and other station facilities.
•	Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and regulations related to fuel handling and station operations.
•	Report any equipment malfunctions, spills, or safety hazards immediately to the station supervisor.
•	Assist in stocking and arranging products within the convenience store, if applicable.
•	Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving minor issues professionally.
•	Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
•	Excellent customer service and communication skills.
•	Basic numeracy for handling cash and calculating transactions.
•	Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
•	Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•	Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
•	Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
•	Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

Key Requirements Skills, experience and qualification

•	Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in a petrol station or retail environment.
•	Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent.
•	Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance checks (oil, water, tire pressure).
•	Prior experience as a pump attendant is an added advantage
•	Good communication and interpersonal skills
•	High level of honesty and integrity
