Duties and Responsibilities

•	Develop, implement, and maintain cost control systems, procedures, and standards.
•	Track, monitor, and report actual costs against budgets and forecasts.
•	Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management review.
•	Conduct variance analysis and investigate deviations from budget.
•	Support project managers or department heads in preparing budgets and cost estimates.
•	Ensure accurate allocation of costs across departments, projects, or product lines.
•	Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, and contracts for consistency with budget.
•	Participate in cost reduction initiatives and identify areas for financial improvement.
•	Assist in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning.
•	Coordinate with finance, procurement, operations, and project teams to ensure cost data accuracy.
•	Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.
•	Prepare cost reconciliation statements and maintain proper documentation.
•	Support internal and external audits related to cost accounting

Key Requirements Skills, experience and qualification

•	Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
•	Professional certifications such as CPA or similar are an added advantage.
•	Proven experience of 3 years in cost control, budgeting, financial analysis, or management accounting.
•	Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.
•	Proficiency in ERP systems.
•	Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
•	Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
•	High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
