• Drive a van to visit retail outlets daily and sell products directly to customers within the assigned route or territory.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets by maximizing product offtake and ensuring consistent order generation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and customers to promote customer loyalty and sustained sales.
• Ensure products are properly merchandised at retail outlets to enhance visibility and appeal.
• Monitor and report on market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback to help inform business strategies.
• Work closely with the sales promoters (stomers) and ensure alignment on stock levels, route coverage, and sales targets.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, cash collection (where applicable), and timely reconciliation of sales made.
• Provide daily and weekly sales reports to the project manager, including sales volumes, customer visits, and market insights.
• Manage inventory on the van to ensure proper stock levels and minimize stock outs or expiries.
• Educate customers on product benefits, promotions, and pricing to encourage repeat purchases.
• Ensure proper maintenance of the van and compliance with safety and road regulations.
• Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). • At least 1–2 years’ experience in van selling, direct sales, or FMCG distribution (experience in similar roles is an added advantage). • Valid driver’s license and good driving record (mandatory). • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
