• Assist in the procurement process by sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and preparing purchase orders.
• Ensure that purchased items meet company standards and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases, including invoices, delivery notes, and receipts.
• Follow up with suppliers on the status of orders and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Coordinate the importation process, including handling customs documentation, clearing, and forwarding requirements (if applicable).
• Track and manage inventory to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained, coordinating with the warehouse and dispatch teams as needed.
• Provide support in the preparation of procurement reports and other relevant documentation for management.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors, identifying opportunities for cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
• Assist in managing procurement budgets and controlling costs.
• Degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing environment. • Experience handling imports is an added advantage. • Proficiency in SAP systems for procurement and inventory management. • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
